Created with Black Walnut, copper highlights, and finished with teak oil -  chasse de nuit (French for 'Night Hunt') showcases the majestic beauty and captures the solitary nature of the Canada Lynx as it hunts in the mountains of North-Eastern Quebec.  The back-drop is a midsummer night sky where the perfect balance of light and darkness has been struck. The many stars and planets shine and pierce the few clouds over Mont Gallix while illuminating a   path for the Canada Lynx as it hunts for hare.

The art work is framed using stained and milled Eastern Canadian Pine.

As with all the art works - pictures do nothing for the piece of the art and must be seen in person to appreciate the depth of Art.
